Purchased a handlebar mount for the camcorder a couple of weeks ago and decided to see how it worked. Image is fairly stable, wind noise is terrible. Need to use an external mic but not a big deal.

The first throttle blip was to see how warm the tire was, then it was a clutch dump at about 6k on a slow roll. I let off just a hair in first becasue the back end was coming around. Shifted into second at 10k and into third at about 9k before I let off at about 80 or so. Gonna need a new rear skin before too long. Boy I love the farm roads around here.

LOVE IT!

What kind of vid camera do you have and where did ya get it gosupes?
Nice clear pic quality... v impressed...

thinkin about buying a camcorder but dont know enough about them yet...

It's a Cannon Elura100 digital tape. That video clip was encoded at 1M/sec if I remember which is fine for broadband connections but not quite DVD quality. It's a decent camera for the price, makes pretty fair DVD home movies when encoded at max resolution.

Not only do I want to hear this sound, I want the Thai's HEAR this coming. 5555555555555555

Blag If you weren't in Ireland I would let you use my helmet cam and recorder. Thing works great upside down!!! :stir:

Yeah, pretty old thread. You know I would, but it's pissin rain and 40 degrees here today. Bike has been winterized and chances are it won't see much sunlight for a while. If we get some halfway decent days this winter I might take it out for a short spin but I have other toys for the rainy season.
