Anyone from here want a gmail acount, just send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you an invitation. It's a new email service from Google and gives you 1000mb of storage and 10mb of messages. I've got 3 now and will send anyone from here an invite. It's great for storing pictures and any other stuff you want to store.

Cheers,

Ok, I finally put up a few pics. Maybe I can get some better ones taken when/if I ever get my stupid barn done and get caught up on some other stuff - hahaha. Later.

Jarney, glad to see you are still alive! What's up with our friend Rocky?

Hey Jarney, nice pics man. i like your ride :yeahthat: tell me more about the engraved gas cap, fork brace, & license plate holder. did you have them custom made ? " I LIKE IT " ! CHRIS

Thanks guys.

Hey Wuputt,
Haven't seen Rocky in a while - keep meaning to get over to his house and see what's going on - one of these days.......

Hey Mark and Chris,
I got the 3 pieces as a package deal off of ebay a long time ago. I was told that they were all made by - not sure if this is the right name, I'll have to do some more searching - Rick Maker - lives in Deleware or Maryland or somewhere like that. He made a few posts a long time ago on one of the other sites - KERA maybe. Anyway, I know Rocky ordered one of the fork braces as well off of "Rick". "Rick" has his own machine shop if I remember right and had a few items he made for the Eli's. The gas cap cover I believe was intended for the 86 1/2 ZL900's as you can sort of see the engraving of the "wing" like is on the tanks.

I'll see if I can dig up any more info on the stuff. Later.

OK, I dug up some more info on Rick Maker. I know he posted that if you can send him accurate dimensions, he can make just about anything you want. In the email that I got the info below from, (it was from Rocky a long time ago - 2003) Rocky was having him make 2" adapters on his 1000 for his sissy bar - to make it stand upright - I dont' have any idea why, but that's another story.

I don't have an email address or phone number but here's the only other info on Rick that I have.

Rick Maker, 10 Fairview St, Littleton, NH, 03561

Later.

Oh yeah, the fork brace that Rick sold was $130.

I got one of the fork braces on my ZL. Not sure how much I like the bulk of it but I definitly like the improved handling!
Oh yea, the price wasn't terrible but it took him 6 weeks to get it to me, that was after several e-mails and phone calls.
If you guys want fork braces, there is a couple other brands available.
I cna get more info iffn ya want it.
