Street Figher Project - Headers

Hello all,
I am currently working on a "street fighter" zl900, and I am in need of replacement headers. I was going to install a D&D system, but have decided to stay with the 4 into 2 set-up. Does anyone have a good set of headers that they would be willing to part with?
I also have a "brand new" D&D Show 'N Go Chrome w/ Alum. Canister that is still in the original packing if anyone is looking at going that route.

Hey Jim, There was a Complete Exhaust on the .org Site a Month Ago, Think it was in Arkansas, $300 for Everything[Headers Mufflers Heatshields] For That Price it Must Have Been ROUGH, Theres also a Guy Parting out an 86 900 on the Same Site.Dale Walker does not Make the Headers, Just the Slipons. Also Check Ebay, Theres a Guy Parting out a Bike on there, Have not seen the Exhaust Yet, Later Rocky :twisted:
 
ZL Jim, Got you a Set of Headers, Guy is Seling the Mufflers on Ebay at The Moment, Asked if He Would Sell Before Listing Them[Headers] Will Have a Reply By Tomorrow, By the Look of the Mufflers and His Description of The Headers There in REAL GOOD SHAPE. I'll enclose some pics of my final drive to give an idea of what I found when I took it apart. I just picked up a new seal but couldn't find the exact size and need to know if I can use a larger one.

Original part # 92049-1026 OIL SEAL,S-901159HS

The only one I could find in Thailand is # TC9011510

Thisnew one has the same inside and outside measurements but is 10 mm instead of 9 mm thick. Will I be able to use it?

I also got another O-Ring, part # 92055-1165 Ring-O,154mm

The problem is that I don't know if this is an inside or outside measurement and I don't have the thickness measurement. I have been bringing samples of stuff when I could but I would have thought that there would be some kind of shrinkage over 20 years and the fact the bike hasn't run in over 7 years.

You can see by the pics that there is quite a bit of oil leakage in this are and since I have it apart I might as well replace them. I'm just worried about oil leaking onto the rear wheel and causing me to wreck.

You should be fine with the seal as long as the ID and OD match up. I wouldn't think there would be that much problem with a seal that's only one mil thinner. The oring may be a different story. Unless it's frightfully expensive, you may be better of just trying it to see what happens. It should be fairly obvious if it fits or not. As long as it's fat enough to compress and fits in the groove nice, you should be good.

SS, The seal is 1 mill thicker than the original so hopefully it should work but that's not too hard to get to anyway. The orings are a different story, would like to know if there is a way to get the info on thickness of these and other orings?

Well bust my buttons, that's a horse of a different color! Sorry, sounded funny at the time.....
One millimeter shouldn't be that big of a deal either, just check to make sure both halves of the case will go back together and that there aren't any rotating parts in the way.

As for the oring, I'm not sure how the parts houses work over there, but you should be able to take the part with you and say here, gimme one to fit this groove.
I'll see what I can dig up for you in the meantime.

I have taken some parts with me but it can be a bit of a pain as where I have to go is in a little China town type of area and stalls are everywhere. This makes it hard to get a vehicke in clost to the shops and when wagging a bag of bigger parts around can get heavy. I'll have to take some pics on my next trip. I made a couple of mistakes on my last picture taking of parts and have cleared thar up now and will post some more on here soon, just to give you guys and gals an idea of what's here and if you need anything just let me know.
