Bike wont start

Hello
I parked my 87 ZL1000 a little while back,it was running fine,after about a month it wouldnt start. It is getting fuel,but no spark. Could this be the igniter? Also the bike will sometimes come out of gear while I am costing in 2nd or 3rd gear. Any ideas

I agree with doode, make sure you have a good battery and clean connections before replacing $200 parts.

that tranny problem doesn't sound good. could be bent shift fork. I know when mine goes it's getting a zrx1200r conversion

check the spade plug near ya choke lever is plugged in!


as far as gearbox,could be a selector or cog....?...

I recognise all of the pics except one with the zl1000 and the guy n gal in leathers, haven't seen that one before.

What language is that PC800, is .pl - Poland maybe?
