greetings all....new member&ZL1000 owner from Aus'

hi all.....new member from Oz'....just bought a ZL1000.....
an avard Z900 owner also,,

guess ill wander thru&find the bar!

Have a look at the KERA Members List (link on the left). Perhaps we should get together for a ride in our off season. It's unfortunate our mates in the northern hemishere have an 'off' season where they're actually off the bikes. Us here in Oz have an 'off' season where we are actually off and away on our bikes. Winter days, what a perfect time to enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.

Don't forget to post your pics, let us all have a look..

Congrats on getting the bike. OZ is a great place and as Rocket said, there isn't too much off time. Been to Oz a few times and love the place.

Thailand's not too unfavourable either, just don't use a liner in your jacket.

They're a good bunch in here ... friendly, helpful and full of info/advice about these wondeful bikes of ours!!! :D I'm lookin' forward to seein' ya bike ... looks good in the pix I've seen so far!! :)

Rocket, just to help you keep the "Oz Eliminator Owners Register" up-to-date hehe ... Edwoods hasn't got an "Eli" .. he was dead keen on getting one after he saw mine, but never got one. He ended up with a Suzi' V-Strom instead.

id say looking wouldnt help much,,that was the first ZL id ever seen in eBay,......they took it off eBay&sold it to me privatley as id emailed them if they sold to me,,id make passionate love to it!!!.....loll'..... 8O

used a mover called 'Eazy movers',,all they do is ship bikes with special vans where the floor drops.,..very neato'.....&safe!....

doing big REgo swap tomorrow.......am aiming for next Zowners meet Ross!....you&me up one end of the bar......&all the Zowners up the other end....loll'.....
Hey,also sold the Z1000J to Wayne from Zowners club as well.....

will hand Mr Credit card his $$$.... :lol:
 
I need to get my finger out and get all this lot sorted out.

I have a bit of time now so its time to dig the bike out of the shed and get started with the cleanup.

The 400 on the right is the project. I'll let you know how it goes when I get started on it.

Good God KK, you got stuff all over your shed. How do you find anything. 5555 Just kidding with you and keep us updated, you are a wealth of information and a help to us all.

Yep, there's just enough room to wheel the GTR1000 inside and get off and walk out sideways :pale: :nonono: :D

Yeah...Its the remnants from the house move........everything just got thrown in there and what with the winter and everything, just never got round to it... but I miss my baby

Both the 1000 and the 400 are both runners. The 1000 just needs cleaning and re-assembling. (if I can get at it LOL). the 400 needs quite a lot of TLC though and is the project for the summer so I don't have to ride the 1000 during the winter. Got most of the parts but the big problem is the clocks. I think the clocks are from a GPZ or something so I need a set of original 400 clocks....anybody????

I was gonna say something about the condition of the shed, then i looked in my garage and changed my mind! Good luck on gettin these baby's back on the road KK!
