Couple questions

Ok now for some "noob" type questions,... anyone know what fork tubes will swap with the eli?.............I have a real sweet 94 zx6r front end that would be huge kick ass on this.... Gas cap?..... what can be used to replace or repair orig. I have the top part and the key but entire bottom part is gone..............Oil cooler: anyone?. I have a 94 oil cooler sitting here,ZX6r~ can I just plumb it like the ninja?.....Radiator: can will a concourse radiator fit?....~easier to find shroud for~...........
Basic question I suppose is what bikes could I use for "parts" I know the ninja is a viable option but what about the Connies?....... and is this fork brace a factory Item?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but in case anyone is interested in a 97% original Eli, in very mint condition, here is a link to my auction:

I can no longer ride, and have to sell due to back issues.... :angry1:

Man it sucks getting old!!!

Best of luck to all of you, and hope all is going well. If anyone needs some pics for a restoration before I sell her, send me a PM with your e-mail address, and I will be more than happy to help!!

Very nice example of a pristine ZL900!!

Shlim 1, sorry that you have to let that one go! I can only imagine how hard it was to make that decision! I guess with a bad back it would hurt more to only be able to look at her and not jump on for a ride!!
I hope that you continue to visit us and share your obvious experience.

Thanks for being a part of our "family"

HEY ROB, :yeahthat: sorry for your misfortune ! i know it's pretty hard on you to let her go, but remember, " you'll always be a member of our zl family ! " hope you keep in touch ! CHRIS

All I can say is "that sucks". I'm getting old, I just hope not so old I can't ride at least for a while. I don't live far from chicago I will be watching it.

That bike looks amazing. I've made the decision that once I get my compensation for my shoulder I'm getting myself a ZX-12R A1, then I'm going to strip down and rebuild my ZL900. So hopefully it will end up looking somewhere near as nice as that one.
