My bikes been sitting in my garage since i had my fall :blackeye: about a month or so ago but it feels like six at least. Thought i'd go out and start it yesterday as i hadn't run it since putting it away, well after trying for 15 minutes, nearly killing the battery in the process i gave up. During this i remembered to turn fuel tap to on then set kill switch to run, something i should have done immediately-DUH.
Amazing what reading the owners manual does, even if it is for a zl600 and not my bike. The next day i set the fuel tap to Pri, pulled choke fully on waited a couple of minutes for the fuel to reach carbs, then reset fuel tap to on hit starter button remembering the kill switch this time and Presto it started in less than a second. Let me tell you i was excited, if it wasn't for the fact the front end is pulled apart for repairs (no forks, front wheel, headlight or gauges)i would have taken her for a spin. Now if only those parts would turn up
