A few years back I bought one of these veypor guages for my ZL. After having it on my bike for a few years I can confidently say it is freakin' awesome. this MC gizmo does so much stuff it is hard to believe they can cram that much technology in such a small container.

its got all the basics covered, speedo, tacho, fuel guage, gear indicator, etc.... everything is super accurate. there is programing and learning set up required to get this level of accuracy. in order to set the speedo you take a physical measurement of your rear wheel and input the data. once that is done the speedo is spot on accurate. Another outstanding feature, is the simple gas guage. this as well has proven over time to be dead on. If the veypor says you have gas... you do, keep riding, if it says youre done.... get ready to push. having the veypor on my ZL1000 has allowed me to increase the confidence to make longer runs without the worry of running out of fuel. the veypor will give you amount of fuel remaining and the range you have to go... and once it has done its learning thing, you can trust it. your oem fuel guage lies to you and if you have a ZL9 it just aint there for you at all. this is a simple feature but it is reliable and having reliable information about how far you can get before you run out of fuel is such a big deal. My ZL1k gas guage would have you believe you are about outa gas at around 120 miles.... guess what brotha... you got alot more range than that !!! just ask my veypor guage...

this thing has so many features and whiz bang doooo dads it could keep you busy for a year just exporing them all.... dyno simulator, which is acutally very accurate, new vr3 has volt meter, pc interface that allows you to do real time data logging for horse power, torque, and accellaration and download to your pc then into the free veypor software.... how bout a gear indicator for your ZL.... NICE !!

Like I said I have been very happy with my Veypor guage, Its got the basics covered and much much more. Even if it had just the basics it would be awesome because they are extreemly important.... ZL9 guys... how would you like to never run out of gas again ????? simply but important...

Anyways... Just got set up as a dealer for this item today and got them posted up at theZLstore.com

ambient temp yes, oil pressure no. but I have been thinking about trying to put together an oil pressure guage set up for the ZL's

thanks for the the back in the battle comment.... not there 100% yet... but trying to get back into my old grove again

NP on the comment, been there.

Was actually asking about coolant temp, was riding last Sunday and blew the lower hose to pieces. No overheat light prior to hose exploding [literally, it's now in two separate pieces, and the front piece still attached to the radiator was ripped open sideways a little way behind the clamp - left a flap about 2 inches wide and 4 inches long hanging there], but I was wondering if I had been watching a temp gauge then I maybe I would have had some warning.

those are good Ideas but what I would really like is for the next gen to have a wide band 02 sensor set up ...now that would be saweeeeet.

hey chris, I know you have one of these on your ZL.... what are your thoughts on the Veypor guage??? you been lovin' yours too???
