WHAT IS THE DEAL FOR LEXINGTON vintage bike days in july?

Hello!! Newbie with bn125 needs help

Hello :D

I'm new to the forum, and i've just purchased my first bike, a '98 bn125 Eliminator, still waiting for it to be delivered...how to make a day feel like a month and a week years!

I've been trying to find manuals for this bike all over the place, but I can't find anything anywhere, then I was pointed towards this website, and was told you guys might be able to help me?

I'm in the UK also, but I don't have a problem with international purchases.

I've been wondering if it's listed under a different name or something, theres no parts on ebay or manuals...zilch

Anyhow, thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any help or advice!! :)

At my local Kaw shop there sits a NEW 2005 125 Eliminator for 3400.00 US

Manuals should be easy to find as Kaw does not change parts much.

Try http://www.buykawasaki.com/Default.asp?

Find manuals and put in your info including VIN and if it exists they have it

It is the Kaw Website
 
:cry: The manuals for the Eliminator on the Kawasaki site only go back to the 2001 model, mines a 1998 model...?

I've emailed the kawasaki site to see if they can help,
 
The '85 manuals cover up to '88 as I said Kaw does not change much very quickly.

It should still be good. For most and you can email them about any changes.

I ordered the Manual for the '86 ZL600 and they sent me the ZX Ninja then they PDF'ed me the suppliments.

Then I found a Manual on Ebay and bought it
 
My bretheren, did anyone get a spot for us yet or are we just gonna sit around like a bunch of magpies on a phone wire? Prespiring minds want to know.
Also, for what it's worth, Mark Mederski, the executive director at the Americam Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame in Pinkertonville OH. (about an hour's ride from Lexington is a good aquaintence of mine) would be happy to set us up with an inside showing at the museum. Sounds like a ride plan to me! What do you think?

As far as a spot goes i haven't a clue. MACHIV hopefully will hook us up. :dontknow:
 
Check the infield for the NAKTC space,look for my
blu/wht bus flying the Kamikazi flag.
 
UPDATE. Just a quick note, I just got a note from one of my bretheren on the worldwide Z-1 kz900/1000 comm. they will have 3 spots this year and a club parking area so no-one will have a prob with room to hang and compare notes and or good whiskey. I will call Mederski today and see what the deal is for a special tour for all of us.

Sounds like they have spaces in the swap meet where it`s
conjested and dusty,I`ll be in the grass in a huge space in the center
of the track.

Keep me posted as well since I'll trailer the bike up like I did last year and park out in the field if I have too. Was nice taking a break sitting in the sun with a cold beverage. The AMA in Pickerington is about 5-7 miles from my house. I haven't been to it since they moved it from Westerville.

Fellas, just a quick not. I put a couple of calls in for the museum, but have not heard back. Something about a new exhibit so Medersky is probably goin nuts. If I don't hear fromem by monday Iwill try again.
 
So, how many of you are going to make it here? We can always plan a "ZL" showing on the streets of Mansfield, I can get us to a couple of the "Hardly" bars and see what develops, Bill likes hangin with that crowd! Maybe we can get the "Amish defector" to make a showing?

I just like making fun of their crappy bikes in their presence. :D

Krazy1, I'm just outside of Columbus in one the burbs on the NE side of town. West side is an interesting place, I wouldn't leave my bike, car, girlfriend alone very long in that part of town.
 
Rammy, funny you should say that. Where she is, it's like it's cuttoff from all the skells. Parkside Dr.. 1 second your in the ghetto and the next your in a normal neighborhood, Vedy interesting is an understatement. I think the people? in that area would steel the face rite off your head if you blinked your eyes to slow.
