Hiya fellas

Well sorry for the delay of me being gone but RealLife TM took over for a while and that's all I have to say about that...

I lost my computer a couple of months back, and with it all the files I had for relaunching KERA in all it's original glory unfortunately.

Just be assured I'm back. Server problems are fixed hopefully for good, and I have a new setup in development.

Where do you guys want this to go?

I see there is a new site out there now and I don't want to get into another situation of competing sites. Where do we go from here guys?

Competing sites? I won't look at it like that and encourage others to feel the same. We are able to co-exist in this big ass space we call the world wide web. Just one step closer the the eli web ring!

Great to see you're alive and well ... certainly had a few of us worried that you were okay that's for sure. It's been a scary time ... unable to contact you, the site been heavily spammed .. OMG the world was coming to an end!!

I for one would very much like to see this site continue!! I DO NOT see KERA and ZLOA being in "competition at all. I'd like to think of the two sites as "mirrors" sure each with their own uniqueness BUT that they also act as a degree of insurance that if one or other gets hit in any way .. the other is there as a backup

ZLOA just happened to pop up around the time this site was becoming almost unusable due to the spammers etc. But .. and it's a very big but, there isnt and won't be for a long time yet, anywhere near the info there .. that's available here!!

Even after "The Big Hack" ... there is still heaps of excellent info to be found here!! (Ohhhhhh, I pray the search facility comes back up again soon)

I can't begin to tell ya how much help this site has been to me in the 2 and a bit years since I got my 1st Eli. Sure .. a lot of that help came from the members on this site ... but if it hadn't been for this site, how/where would I have found these guys and been able to access the helpful info they've all posted?

It's been sad to see how this site has gone since the big hack and then more recently the spammers. I miss the Garage section and especially the search facility. I would love to see KERA get back up to it's former glory.

I definitely think there is room for both this site and ZLMarks "ZLOA" site. The two can most definitely co-exist!!! From my point of view .. on the odd occasion where this site was unaccessible for whatever reason .. there was nowhere else to go to even maintain contact with the guys from here.

The fact that ZLOA now co-exists with this site means no matter what happens, it is very unlikely BOTH sites would be down at the same time.

Anyways, it's great to have ya back .. I hope this site continues to grow, coz I ain't going anywhere while the site remains

Do what ya gotta do, but I would very much like to see KERA survive, It has been a great help to me. I have enjoyed the forums very much. The best is the friends that i have made because of this site!

All I can say is that I'm glad to be back and I'm glad that you are all here.
Life called and I had to answer so time was limited but some things never change: cool people hang together and if it's good enough to ride (above 10 degrees and not snowing).....we ride.
On a "it's great to be me" note, both kids are riding also. My daughter Jess (20) has a Suzi SV650S and the boy Ken (1 has a Ninja 500. A few weeks ago we all, with 4 other friends, rode to the Minisink Hotel for cheeseburgers. Went down in history as one of the best times of my life, and that's not just because the burgers are great.
Keep up the good work and I hope that for a while I have the time to keep up.

I believe that MachIV has an X pipe on his ZL1200R. I think it just replaced the big ass box though. Must be new that they are building these for our bikes. Would love to hear what they sound like! They definitly look nice!

I think I paid $260 delivered.
They sound awesome,just bolt on in place of the
"power chamber".
No oil change issues as they are nowhere near the filter.

thanks for the insight machIV , i did not realise that you indeed have a set on your bike. did not pay too close attention, but if say they are good, i'll definately take your word for it, you know what your talking about when it comes to these machines! CHRIS

They`re worth what I paid for em,paint came off
soon after I mounted em and ran it but I`m having them
p-coated.
Kinda thin also but we are limited to exhaust for these bikes
cuz of the assinine design of the downtubes.
Without that prob we could use almost any late model big bore
Kaw aftermarket pipes.

Hey Bill, I think these guys think you are talking about headers too. You just have the "X pipe" that replaces only the power chamber, correct?

Not worth more than mid $200 or so,need to be
p-coated as the paint sucks on em.

I don't like the look of them. My bike's in the shop at the moment having a custom, hand-made, exhaust system made for it so I can get it back on the road legally. He's going to make the silencers look as close to original as possible.

I'll post some pictures as soon as I get it back.
