Since I had the cupon from Cycle world for the 97841 wheel chock and was in the area. Decided to stop and buy it yesterday.

Just went down to the garage and assembled and tested it.

It does as advertised and holds the bike very good with no starps. I actually felt comfortable enuff to go upstairs and make a cup of coffe and leave it there with no straps. :thumbsup:
The plastic feet at the very front will need changed to rubber to grip the smooth concreete floor as it tends to slide as I try to drive onto it with the zl1. This wont be a problem if its mounted in a truck or trailor and you would be able to leave off the front leg also.

Will see if I can get the camera working and take a pic in the morning.

I have that wheel chock bolted down in my trailer and I am very pleased with it, especially at that price! I was going to buy one for the garage but I opted to buy a new but not used HF lift, which works very well and is a good deal, too but a whole lot easier on my back when working on bikes.

Yep the bike lift is a back saver! Just wish it had a better wheel chock on it also.
Anyone looking for one of them should also note there is a cupon in cycle world for the lift also!

I agree thats the one to get.It would be great mounted on a lift.next time I get up there I will have one.

This is the one that WillyD mounted in his trailer that I hauled my Voyager back from S.C. in. It clamped down on that wheel like a Pit Bull with a poodle in his mouth!:thumbsup:

Paul, that second one you mentioned is the one I have on my lift.
 
After seeing a good picture like that,I think one of those could be built easy enough.There realy isn't much to them.

Yep Markus. The second one is the same and from the same supplier. My next trip down to delaware will be stopping by to pick some stuff up and probably get that one for my table lift.
 
I have three of the Harbor Frt.One in a enclosed trailer-One on a open Trailer,and one on a harbor Frt lift table.I have trailered GL1800 halfway across the country,and and currently have a big Magna (winter project) on the lift.There are several good chocks available,but none work any better for me than this one,and for the price to me was a no-brainer.Pd 29.95 for one,and 39.95 ea.for the other two.Just my 2 cents.
 
Anyone out there not using the cupons located in the cycle world mag for this T-style chock. Please let me know as I would like to get a second one and dont want to pay full price.
 
Since I really have no moral compass I could tear one out at the bookstore?
 
About three years ago "Pep Boys" had motercycle lifts for sale, between the store sale price and the mail in rebate I paid like $235, one of the best buys I ever made.

Harbor Frieght sells a similar one but the price is like $355 on the internet.

The wheel chock on the lift holds it real steady without straps but I use the straps anyways to take any stress off the mag wheel.
