1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

I, along with another member are trying to help a 3rd member with some carb & rpm issues with a 600. What we need to verify are the carb numbers to see if the carbs on this bike are the correct ones. The numbers in question are stamped into the base of the carb (left side) just above the float bowl mating surface. The numbers we are looking for are V235 AA14. If someone has these numbers it will tell us that these are indeed carbs meant for a 600. These numbers are different from what is stamped into mine but I think the numbers reflect perhaps a manufacture # or a lot #. So please let us know if anyone has these numbers.

On a set I have for the 600cc bike the Letter/Number combination is V323 AG 29, and a 30mm choke just like the 398cc bike.

    It is a 1986 manufactured, ZL600 A.

I think they are just perhaps production batch numbers. What you need is the internal specifications, needle size, jet size, see attached! Screenshot at 2018-08-30 14:55:21.png
