LOSE THE EXPANSION CHAMBER (PRE-CHAMBER)

Picking up on something RedhatNeo said. Anyone ever dropped the pre-chamber out and connected the headers to the mufflers with piping?
In England we cut the balance pipe off a 750, welded over the holes and increased the power good and proper.
I need to know, 'cause my pre-chamber has blown and although I've got another (thanks Rocky), I wonder if a "straight - through" would sit better with my Stage 3 Dynojet and pods.
Any help........................?

Pete, most aftermarket exhaust including the 'trapps do not use the chamber. I would think that there is some corrolation perhaps. Mine doesn't have the chamber, with a Dale Walker kit / pods / Supertrapps and when she ran she ran like a screamin meanie...

Pete, without a doubt drop the pre-chamber. With it in place you are loosing the benifits of your stage 3 and pods. Any reputable muffler shop should be able to make some connection pipes for you. The biggest problem will be the angle at which they connect to the mufflers as they pretty much come straight back from the down pipes. Maybe you could have them make an X pipe connection between the two. Should work good if they can do it. Furchin
