Hello guys...turbospark here from Puerto Rico(USVI) registering...Mine's a project/modification in progress...it's black(originally) zl900/zl2(don't have a clue what that other means but that's what's on my title)...vin is #############1157...mileage is unknown 'cause it doesn't have gauges... Hope this helps....

Just got it last night. Its black, stock. and vin is 0892. Case # ends with 3405, i take it this is a replacment motor? Is #'s matching actually #'s matching, or is it like my Z1B and within 300 is considered? Never owned one before, but have wanted to for a while!

The frame and engine numbers don't match on these bikes. Your engine number should start with ZL though if it's an original 900 engine.

85 Black ZL900 Vin# last 4 digits is 3000 bone stock. Just picked it up its been sitting for 10 years under a bike tent in Tucson AZ. Looking forward to the project. Last 4 digits on the motor is 3503.

It look like there are about 7000 1985 Eliminators. 2300, japan built 4700 US built, Harder to get an number on 1986 models

You should be able to call kawasaki with the year , make , model , and vin and they can tell you the origonal color of the bike plus bike history i.e. how many owners / accident history , states registered in
you may want to mention that you want to order the paint through them to make them a little more helpfull
