If only you could get those pumps that last like the first one. My f150 has 220,000 still running great (due for a set of plugs and wires) Bought and owned over a dozen Toyotas....several over 200k..never put a fuel pump in any of em. Towed vehicles for close to 10 years. Towed dozens and dozens of Chevys for that very same problem. Don't recall ever towing a fuel injected Ford or Toyota for it. Just sayin...:goodluck:

They all have problems not every single part lasts forever. Dad Had a construction company and we had a fleet of Ford trucks from f-150's to F-800's. I have seen them break down over the years just like any other vehicle. Just sayin.

Well, it's just not in the cards for me this year, I can't even load/unload a bike without worrying about my groin, not to mention the pain I would be in riding it. Have a great time, will see ya'll next year, or hopefully, sometime this fall at a wrench session!!!!

Ok, got Branica's number - it was he who called - he's having a bad day - bike problems, got a rental car and then got pulled over by the police. Later.

Ok, Branica is sorted out - he only got a warning from the policeman - he's on his way to VMD in the rental car and will catch a ride back tomorrow with another member. Later.

Made it to our hotel in Ashland at 1am last night. Wife and I are just starting to wake up. Going to see what's up with this free breakfast then head to VMD

Yeah same here, I mean with my "Groin", Yes indeed it can be very painful.... I Hope you get to feeling better soon BGT:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Just got back, got there at about 7am. Weather was hit and miss but still a great time - even though I didn't take a bike. Really missed not going on the group ride but it was probably for the best due to the weather. Great to see old friends and meeting all the new members and first timers. I'll post up pics and maybe a video or two when I get a chance. Hoping for good weather and conditions and circumstances for next year. Drive safe on the way home guys. Later.

I rode in the rain last Friday to show solidarity for our Brothers that are representing the Elimination at VMD!
I hope you guys had a great time!

At 4:00pm Friday with a clear Texas sky I hear the clap of thunder. Checking AccuWeather there is a large cell starting to cover I-35 North (My way home). My plan, while throwing on the armor, is to take a more western loop up 114 around to George W. Bush toll way. The rain hit while crossing 635 with a heavy cold downpour. I came across a flock of bikers waiting it out huddled at an underpass. Gave them a couple of beeps from my ZL Jet Ski and throttled on. Shortly I drove out of the deluge onto dry pavement.

had a super great time this year !!!!! :headbang: too short for Dad & I, we wish we could have stayed longer, but seriously you guys are the "BEST", Dad was smiling the whole day & really enjoyed seeing our Bro's & and extended family. I would like to thank each one of you from the bottom of my heart for your understanding,& compassion shown personally, but this would be a really long post. one day was not nearly long enough, it only takes 1 minute with you all to have a great time. Dad & I talked about all the little things that were said & done while we were there as we drove home that made our stressful week (last week) fade away . looking forward to next year already !!!:thumbsup:

Wife and I are headed back out to VMD here shortly. A good 30 minute ride from Ashland, though.
