It's all good, seems like the waterpump gave up. Looked just like madman after his Baja, spraying everywhere :rotf: The dealership in Watertown bumped me up so they should have me back on the road by 5 then meeting up with childhood friend who lives here for supper then 2 1/2 hour drive home. Thanks for making my first time a great time.

Must have been the year for breakdowns. Me and Scotty were down about 6 hrs with my tahoe on the way out. Picked up Branica's bike on the way home and thought I might get it going easy..no luck. I drove straight.from Ohio to my gig and arrived about 13 minutes till. They had me park my truck and trailer on a side incline. Afterwards I pulled up to load up my drums and took a peek in the trailer only to find my grill tipped forward resting on my 1K front fender. It wlli need repaint. Even thru the wind and rain we rode as a pack of brothers..just doin that makes it worth it..met some new faces and hugged old friends..always a blast..great to see Carla and Steph and their families sharing in the festivities..

:hello: I wanted to find out if all who attended VMD got home safe. I'm in Saranac MI. Leaving here at 5:00 AM TUE. for Johnstown PA for the rest of the week.

Austin and I were the last to leave, funny coming pack to an empty field of grass with just the grill and propane tank in the middle of it. We loaded everything up and went and watched the racing for awhile before heading home. Austin fell asleep right as we got on the freeway and woke up right before his exit. You can't explain how cool the group ride is, just have to experience it. And was great watching MadMan smoke his tire right in front of the club site.

Here are the couple shots I took this weekend. This was only my second VMD that I have been able to attend,but I can't explain how nice it is to hang out with everyone!! It doesn't matter if we are on a group ride, sitting around the campground, going out to eat, or standing under a tent while it's raining like a SOB, I had a blast!! It was really nice to see everyone again that I met in 2011, and it was nice to meet some new members as well.

Will maybe next year,i'll show my face,and become one of you guys and ride like the wind...The rain made it suck, but I did get to ride a lil and go to the moto-x on sunday. Glad the guys that got to see my bike face to face, "Liked it"... Thanks Again!!! Next year i'll come around,:thumbsup: if its not raining...

Back on the road again, only 2 hours to go and a big stack of hay to put up in the barn when I get there. I guess vacation is over.

Hell, As much as you have driven the last 4-5 days that 2 hour trip should seem like driving across the street!!! Keep us posted on how your bike is coming!! Good luck and I hope you can get that thing all fixed up and purring like you want it to!!!

Sorry I could only be there for Friday,it was worth the 10hr.s of ridin' on the super slab .Give me twisties any day. I just wish Mad man would bring a clean bike:rotf::rotf::rotf:
I managed to stay right between the storms all the way home(camp)...about an hour later the skies opened! On Saturday, I paid for the nice riding on Fri.... 2hrs. of every kind of rain.
By the way, I lost a fork capon the way home, but found R.J.'s sunglasses on the highway while looking for the cap....apparently, God didn't want R.J.'s glasses anymore and took my cap :rotf:

On a side note: I bought a truck today so I'm gonna go collect whats left of my Eliminator from WillyD's house sometime this week.

Is there anyone in the IL/WI/IN area that can help me out? I dont have a garage so I cant do it at my place. I can supply plenty of Beer and Pizza :headbang:

Did you end up getting that '72 Chevy C20 that you were talking about? Is it 2 wheel drive? V-8? I'm sure that won't use too much gas at $4.00 + a gallon in Chicago..... Post up some pictures so WillyD knows what to keep an eye out for, I'd be interested in seeing pictures of the truck!!

Ok, Did anyone end up with a hammer that isn't theirs?? I am missing a blue Eastwing hammer that I was using to put up the tent. I remembger it being at the club space at the track, but I cannot find it now... If you found it, let me know.
