R. J. where have you been in 1985? That year this model came out and since then these mufflers are known.... My brother got one in blue metallic, nice to look @ but on the 1st production series the Japs drilled holes into the handle bar to hide the cables - good for optics but the steel was weakened so much that the bars broke right there coz of vibs by the V2-engine so they turned back to lay the cables on the outside...hahaha.

I know. I was just pointing out that they look a lot like the ZL9/10 mufflers.
