Do we have an idea on how many were made aprox? i found this old add for one in the UK and the seller claims only 7500 were ever produced?
here is the add: http://used-vehicle-sales.com/uk/sa...iminator-in-super-state---must-see-36203.html

it says the following:

Very good rare ZL900 in excellent original state. Allways well kempted. Excellent classic muscle bikewich will raise in value. Very rare in Europe becouse this model been only been build years for the US CAN market.Only few hundreds get greyimported in the 80's. Total production number only 7.500 units (equal to the Z750 Turbo).
25K miles, engine starts at the buttom and runs smooth without nasty sidenoises. Big new maintenance, missing red original side reflectors will be added (red side reflectors been prohibited formerly in germany).Professional polished aluminium parts and supernice original exhausts.
Bike appears like well kempted years old machine. Super rare Kawa model with plenty of power and shaft drive. If you look for bike for your wifey original ZL500 (super rare!!) is also available please look at the last pictures.
Get more info on my site:
http://chiemgau-classics.com
The price is for the bike like it is with EU/german title, so registering in UK is easy and not very costy.
We can deliver the bike in closed van to England, Scotland, Ireland, Monaco, France, Spain and Portugal for additional 195GBP.
Thanks for looking.
Igor
