new member... just bought a 1987 ZL1000 with a ZL900 motor in it... this is therapy for me to help get over my beloved KLR 250 getting stolen out of my backyard back in August 2022.. this ZL1000 came from Pennsylvania... also bought a couple of ZL900 for parts and part out... also to learn more about the engine

New member here, just bought a black 1987 ZL1000 non runner, with the aim of getting her back on the road over winter. Last on the road in 2012 according to the MoT history.
last four digits are 0038, so quite an early one.
