That windshield on the ZL1000 what is it where did you get it and how much was it and how tall from the top of the headlight cut out to top of the windshield is it???
Eerrr............. Ok so that was a few questions! :laughing7:

I'm guessing you mean the slightly red on bottum one on the black ZL.....National Cycles-"GT", was about $75 in '07. This link is ZL specific, but you can browse the site for other styles....

I did have the Plexistar 3 on it for a bit which is nice for NO wind (actually pushes from behind a-little) but at 90mph or above it really affected the steering! So, went w/ the "GT". Only feel it when above 125mph now.
It pushes the front end down at high speed and feels a-little funny until your used to it. Next note would be that you can have a comfortable conversation with a passenger while doing 55 or so. Lastly I liked that one because you can still see the instruments and lines(from all side of the bike) that do look good on the ZL.

Now the part your gonna' love....I butchered it to put on my Z1.....blasphemy! I'll attach a pic off the surgery. Kbug and I had ridden the Z1 about 200 miles right after I got it...chased some buddies through the twisties for an afternoon, and rode it home...stock 'bug' screen iz so small it killed our necks...so I put the 'GT' on the Z1. Watch out! I have a Dremmel tool! And i'm not affraid to use it!
