back to no start :(

Read my thread on rebuilding petcocks and if you want to get one of mine, send me a message.

Update: turns out my petcock is working just fine - the idiots had it set to PRI despite my repeated explanation how the damn thing works (guess there's a reason they're called grease MONKEYS). Now I'm waiting on the valve adjustment results.
Having read through Markus' thread on petcock rebuilding, I'm starting to like the filter idea. Might look into that just to be on the safe side.
Maybe I'll start tooling up and getting my own garage as well - if you want something done right, do it yourself.

Cheers! V@

Many guys have come here for help and have concluded the same thing......"do it yourself". The pingle filter is the way to go!

Right... So the valve adjustment did the trick - she's at 15o PSI now. Mechanic said something he referred to as "yokes" (I'm translating here - no idea what he means yet) were basically "ground to dust", as he put it, so he had to turn a new set on a lathe.
I guess I have a running bike again. :D

Thanks for the tips! V@
