Anyone doing their own carburetor rebuilds and looking for a great price on a float bowl height guage should try Summit Racing's website. Summit is selling Pit Posse's height guage at $22.95 (PTM-PP2699). That guage looks suspiciously like the one on Factory Pro's website that they're trying to peddle off for almost $50.00.....Hmmmm! I ordered it today; along with the carburetor cleaning tool set (PTM-PP2453) for $8.95.

Hope that helps with someone's future carb work.

Thats funny, I was just in Summit monday night looking at those.

They also sell the bevel drive carb tool from pit posse $79 that is identical to the one i got from sportingforless.com $39

I was just "IN SUMMIT" really...hmmmmm I just sign my paycheck to them every month. I was not aware you were so close.

I have the tools and I will be useing them on my ZL real soon ,
It has gas leaking out of #2 carb when it is running ....

My order on those tools shipped today. For anyone whose interested, I'll post up the particulars on the quality of both tools as well as the assortment make-up of the carburetor multi-tool. Not ready scheduling wise to set aside the time of tackling the carb work at this point; just gathering parts and tools for right now.

I was just "IN SUMMIT" really...hmmmmm I just sign my paycheck to them every month. I was not aware you were so close.

When we were all out at ZLMarks we took a ride over to Summit for some stuff couldnt have been more than 15 min to get there from his place!
 
The float level gauge and the carburetor multi-tool were delivered.

* The float level gauge is heavy for it's size, cast metal with black powder coat finish and white number graduations ranging from 1mm out to 45 mm. The adjustable sliding arm is stiff along its range of travel; it should hold a measurement set with no problem at all.

* The carburetor multi-tool consists of (12) 2-1/4" stiff serrated wires attached to a folding case/handle (The handle/case is freak'n useless; changed it out to a split ring/keyring- a lot easier to manipulate). Wire sizes are stated in drill size numbers: 49-51, 52-53, 54-55, 56, 57, 58-59, 60-61, 62-64, 65-67, 68-70, 71-73, 74-75.
