EXMARK ZERO TURN MAINTENANCE

I've had my 34 inch eXmark mower for seven years. It has 330 hours on it. I change the oil every 50 hours. I use AMSOIL small engine SAE 10W30 oil. This past week I installed one new spindle and the another spindle I installed a set of new timken bearings. For the spindles mounting bolts I used stainless steel hardware. I also installed a new mower deck belt. The spindle shafts, blade bolts and the mover deck pulley covers bolts are also new. When I install new bearings I always remove one of the dust seals and add a bit more grease. Also I always use loctite on the blades bolts. I've had the blades bolts work loose and ruin the spindle shafts. ____________________________________________________________________

Today I mounted two new LED head lights on my eXmark. EBAY $25.00 shipped. I fabricated my own aluminium brackets. I didn't like the cheap steel ones that came with the lights. Also I used all USA stainless steel hardware. I ran the lights black ground wires directly behind each light using S.S bolts and nuts. I ran the red power wire to a water proof toggle switch on the dash then to a 7.5 amp fuse holder. Then to the positive side of the battery. All joints are soldered. I ran the positive wire up under the frames U channel. All wiring has two layers of heat shrink. I also ran 3/8" black conduit over the wiring next to the motor, battery and up under the dash. The 4 ft aluminium stock cost $8.00. From LOWES. The lights shine out to about 200 ft or so.
