I need fork seals, can anyone help?

UPDATE:
Cube Top reports that his professionally installed pyramid fork seal wipers don't fit properly and the seals are leaking. See post #8

I just had a set of them installed. The seals are fine but the wipers are a TEENY bit too small in that they don't touch the forks right so they might not seal out dust/water as good as they SHOULD. As I said though, the seals themselves are fine.

Bad news on those seals. Just had them put in, one of them already failed. I made a mistake in the earlier comment. the wipers aren't too small, the inner diameter is too big so they don't wipe against the fork well enough.

Since the seal failed and the wipers aren't the right size, I'd say it was a waste of money. My mechanic is ordering the correct Kawasaki seals and we're redoing them. Of course, it's possible I just got a bad one but I'll never order that brand again.

Same company that made the ones in the eBay link in the start of the post. I think it's Pyramid? I ordered a set off eBay for the ZL1000.

No problem. If my mistake prevents others from wasting money, I'm happy to be the bearer of bad news. I can speculate that maybe I got a bad seal but the wipers are a different story. Then again, looking at the wipers and knowing that they are NOT in spec really doesn't make me at all surprised that the seal broke down. It is also probably just out of spec.

Glad I discovered it now and not in the middle of a road trip to somewhere.

I'm letting my mechanic get my parts. He doesn't markup or anything. Lesson learned.

I ordered form these guys and they delivered all the way to New Zealand and quickly too - excellent service. I have had no problem with them at all - good price and great fit.

Unfortunately I didn't have much luck with their brake pads but they refunded all my money very quickly, so I can vouch for their excellent service.
