Here are some of the gloves I own/have bought over the years.

My first pair was the Tourmaster Custom Middleweight Leather gloves. I still have these and they have held up very, very well. Not too heavy for summer riding as long as you are not sitting still too long and decent in cooler weather. Below 45 degrees or so for anymore than a short trip and your hands get cold. Fit is really good too.

I bought these just for the summer. Tourmaster Air Flow Textile gloves. They don't provide much in the way of protection but have good airflow. And they are cheap - $18 at most places. I've had these for years and the index finger on both hands finally wore through - I imagine from grabbing the front brake/clutch. Fit was good on these also. The ones in the picture are a little different design than the ones I bought years ago so not sure if they have maybe made improvements or not on them.

I bought these a couple years ago for cold weather riding. Tourmaster Cold Front Carbon Gloves. These are very warm. A bit on the bulky and stiff side, a little harder to operate controls, etc. But will keep you very warm and have a little protection. They've shown no real wear or problems so far. I favor the gauntlet style cuffs for cooler weather to keep air from running up the sleeve. And also prefer gloves that have some type of adjustable wrist closer so I can tuck in my sleeves - even on the summer gloves.

And this is the pair I just bought to replace the Air Flow Gloves for summer riding. First Gear Velocity Gloves. I'm pretty happy with the Tourmaster products but decided to go with something different this time. These fit really, really well, have a little more protection than the Air Flow's and a gel insert in the palm - which really helps with vibration through the handlebars. They flow air pretty good too. A 50 degree morning on my way to work and my hands will get a little chilly. They also have extra material sewn on the fingertips - one reason I bought them since that is where the Air Flows wore out first - only drawback so far is that one of the index fingers extra material stitching is starting to come apart already - not sure if I snagged it on something or it's just the pair I got or a sign of how well/not well they are made. These gloves are very comfortable though - hope they hold up. Just got them this year - we'll see.

Man nice gloves! I need a few sets. I have some that are similiar to the Cold Fronts. The second I put them on I had to have them they had a nice relaxed pre form to them thats made for gripping. Now I need a nice set of the air flows
