Clutch cover gasket is 11009-1860. All the rest of your numbers check OK. Have a real good look at the sprockets!

I got the ‘Lil Girl’ (86 ZL9) running again after replacing the Alternator Chain, Guide, Tensioner, and Crank Sprocket (The Alternator Sprocket is not offered retail anymore). The chain was way stretched out beyond specifications. The hardest part was scraping off the old clutch cover gasket without getting little pieces of crap in the case. I plan on replacing the oil and filter again very soon just in case of contamination.

I have only done a short ride last night to the car wash and back. I did not hear any rattling or clanging noise from the clutch area during the test hop. I will shake it out today before taking it downtown in the morning.

I have been really jones’n to ride. The weather has been great in Texas, but I had to finish a work certification so she has been down for over a month. A cold front is coming through today that will drop the tempter down to really cold, 55F. I may have to find my jacket!

Special shout-out thank you to Vinny, zlMark, Peter, & Jarney for their technical support. I wonder if ‘CO_CAL_ZL’ ever got his rattle problem fixed. Sorry for high-jacking your thread!
