Gotta admit the runner here is going to be a BLAST! and am thinking a track only bike is in order with one of the others. So dont feel I am jumping ship here as there is still the 86 zl out there and it runs damn good
But speking of running. yesterday was a bad day, "Bull" had an anccident wile we were on our way to breakfast and to the coast, he was on his 1100 I was on the ZL, light turns green 5-6 vehicles in front of us one stopped... hell all of em stopped but the one in front of Jim only stopped after it slammed into someone. Jim did all he could to get around it, but the 177 stitches in his leg says he didnt quite make it. he will be down for min of 6 weeks the bike itself actually doesnt look bad, minor dimple in the tank and the crash bar, and front mast cyl need to be replaced. along with a turn signal..... Long post, but everyone wish him a speedy recovery cause I damn sure dont wanna see him down like this. but he wile he is down meens I get more saddle time on the ZL!........... pics comeing soon
