:hello:My Son Jonathan and I poured a slab last Monday in front of my shops five foot wide door. It was long over due. Since the shop is eight inches above grade and the drainage ditch twelve inches below grade it made it really hard for me to get my bikes and equipment in and out. It took 14 bags of 80 pound concrete for the footer and 16 bags for the 5ft x 3.5ft x 6 inch thick slab. Also used 40 feet of rebar because my one front gate entrance is inline with the slab. I know someone will end up running over the slab. LOL. Time spent about six hours. The concrete cost $240 and the rebar was $40. Slab weighs 2,400 lbs.
