Take it the ZL400se not a popular bike.

Hope you all had a GRAET HOLIDAY :bluesbros:

prob with them is that they (well mine was anyway) imported from thailand of simialr and not sold as standard in the uk

1987 zl1000a1 fun/show
2007 klr650 work/play in the sand box
1986 FZ 750 street play / burn outs
1973 cr250 grey ghost down and dirty dirt play:D

Have all listed under my sig except my first 3 street bikes that I have owned (not counting the dirt bikes)

Got my '85 ZL900 a while back on Craigslist for $250.00 .. It had been sitting up for about 22 years, 17 in a shed and 5 under a tree. The guy had bought it new in '86 and only rode it for a year when he had a car accident and parked it. It only has 3,500 miles on it. The seat was rotted to hell so I got a good one off ebay. I think he must have drained all the fluids because there isn't any in the in the motor or radiator or brakes. I haven't started it yet because I want to take the valve cover off and pour some oil around the valve springs and take the oil pan off and flush the radiator and carbs. The mufflers have wasp nest in them. The bikes not really in bad shape at all, just some light rust specks here and there. The tank only had some rust specks in it and electrolysis got all that out and now the tank looks new inside, only needs a new paint job, no big deal. I've worked on Kawasakis for years so I'll have no trouble getting this bike in shape. Although I'm 51 now and getting down on my knees bothers me more these days. I only wished Kawasaki had put a center stand on this bike, the cheap bastards must have been trying to save money. That makes it a lot harder to change tires and pull the forks for new fork seals. Still has the original license plate with july '87 stickers on it, the bolts holding it on are rusted so you can tell its been on there for years.
