Which way is the hose barb pointing on that one?Mark, I used the same adapter as you ordered, 1702C. But I used 6211 ch on the valve. no problems with reaching it.

You do mean the A1702C adapter right??WillyD and I just both purchased Pingel's again for our bikes. I needed one for the 1000. I didn't get the valve I wanted but it will work, otherwise, I have put the a1703c adapter on the 900 and the 1000 and it seems to work fine. I don't have the 1000 tank on the bike yet but I don't see why it wouldn't work since it worked fine on the 900. Or are you referring to the different valve? Later.

I hope my floats are sealing good![]()
Now that I have had some time with this bad boy I like the feel of the lever and not having detents isn't really an issue when you know which way reserve points (straight out). The lever action is really smoooth and effortless with my gloved fingertip and the knob is easy to feel for. I still think the throw could be shorter. If I was to improve this design I would add detents and shorten the throw. I hope my floats are sealing good![]()
. . . it comes with the adapter plate.
Why you need some? I saved the leftovers from both pingels

Yeah you could afford to do that since you aren't getting 25mpg![]()
