Spark plug Starter.

Hey Vinny if that is what I think it is we (auto mechanics) use the old spark plug boots. Some are quite long

I have heard of people using a bit of hose pipe or tube - but this looks a bit more professional. If it stops someone crossing a thread up because the spark plug well is so deep then it is worth looking at.
An old spark plug boot would do the job nicely!
Thanks for the tip.

I know this is an old thread but for those using the old rubber boot trick...Try going down to lowes or home depot with it and fit the boot to a piece of wooden dowel and then use some epoxy to glue it in place. Works great and easier to start the plugs in tight spots.
Most of those stores have scrap pile buckets in the aisles and small scraps are free if somebody cut something smaller and left it behind.

I use a universal on the socket then a small extension. Never had any problems with starting a plug with it. Universals are cheap and are usually included in most socket sets these days. Later.
