zlMark,

After working on WillyD's bike at VMD with paulfun I decided to try carb removal as done by paul on my bike,, works better and the tech doc has been adjusted,,Thanks Paul!

Glad to be of assistance!

just a few reminders for everyone

Watch you throttle cables when removed from handle bar as they can swing back and hit and scratch your fender! especially if you are like me and find it easyer to compleetly remove the cables from the assembly.

If you are lazzy like me- you dont really need to remove the knee gaurds just release the elbows on the cables from the holders and the carbs will slide right under them.

When reinstalling the carbs should go in past the knee gaurds before putting the elbows back in (sharper bend goes to drivers side) and just before lifting the front of the carbs all the way into the intake boots stop and rest the carbs against the boots and ensure the elbows are in correctly and pull the cables from the throttle ends while holding the caseing back. Then put the carbs into the intakes

One thing that is very important is to watch the elbows on the throttle assembly as if your bars are at full turn they can hit and ding your paint on the tank. So ensure they are turned to the right possition and get the screw holding them tight right away.
