Today's Weather

:hello: It's 82* already. The high today is to reach 96*. With the 95% humidity the heat index is 107*. Won't be doing much of anything out side today. I cut my grass last night in the dark. :laughing7:
 
It gets warm up here for a couple of days, then storms for a couple of days, then cools way down, then repeats. It will be in the 50's at night this week - some places saw the 40's last week, makes for a cold ride into work on the graveyard shift. Later.
 
Ahhhhhh.....mid 80's all week, 48% humidity. Low 60's at night. Just about right. Going out on Lake Washington to watch the hydroboat races on Sunday.
 
:hello: Near record highs all week. Only 99* yesterday & today. Heat index near 110*. Only 5 more weeks then temps will be in the mid 80s until Nov.
 
:hello: I hate FL heat it is worse than the cold. Yesterday I put crank shaft seals & did a top end rebuild on a Yamaha Blaster ATV. I showered twice & changed closes 5 times from bring drenched in sweat. In the cold all's you do is layer up to keep warm.
 
It was so hot here today I ran out of sweat so I went to the store to buy some more:rr::laughing7: Got back to the house and my wife told me it was on the news at noon - allegedly the devil said it was too hot in Florida so he went home where it was cooler!!
 
Nothing but rain here the past month or so. I'm just now on my 4th tank of gas.............not much of a riding season this year. Hope this fall is better. Later.
 
As Jarney said we have been hit hard with rain....Thrusday we got 8&half inchs in just 2 hours.....yes two hours, flash floods every were!!! Our creek out front our house looked like a raging river!! I have NEVER seen it rain that hard in my life....END OF TIMES!!!:twisted: Today at 10am its 85 and MUGGY!!!

I feel the same way!
And working in an open air garage all day has been cooking me slowly, I'm almost rare.
It's really the humidity that kills me. The past few days have been nice..
it was 94 today ..didn't feel that hot though. The humidity was at 43% I think.
 
:hello: I spent the day putting in a new hot water heater & dry wall work in my garage. I also ran a line for an ice maker. You are right the high humidity gets to you more than the heat. I think we had 7 straight days with + 97* with + 95% humidity. I just hope it gets below 80 during Biketoberfeast, It starts a week late this year. Are you FL ZL owners up to it.
 
No problem here R.J. after the last month 90 degrees will be like a cold front!!:HappyFacePutt5K: I have noticed how much heat comes off the ZL motor when that fan comes on though. Nothing like running your heater in the summertime!!:angryfire:
