Today's Weather

Why in the world would you send it to us then? Take it back................ Hahahaha. I'm going to have to bail the yard - I haven't been able to get out and do yard work or mow in almost two weeks now, still got water standing everywhere and probably be a few more days at least before it dries out. Maybe I can get out there today and do a little here and there. The temperatures have been just about perfect, but nothing but rain lately. Later.

Good grief, took me 4 hours, got maybe half the yard/lake mowed/raked and the down tree limbs picked up/burnt yesterday. The water has been standing for some time now- man does it smell............. Storms rolled through early this morning, went outside to stoke up the fire, had more tree limbs to pick up - as I was doing this, I stumbled on to this little critter walking through the yard - what's next???????????? Chance of rain all this week as well.................

Man, we can't catch a break. We were ALMOST dried out (I still had some water standing from the last batch of storms) when more storms rolled through today. Supposed to rain/storm off and on until sometime Saturday - I'm never going to get caught up on yard work. I think it's time to look into building that ark. How about a ZL powered ark - with a mower attachment - or at least one of those air boats - hahahaha? Later.

:hello: We have been getting rain every day for the past 2 weeks. Fl sandy soil soaks it up really fast. An hour after it gets done raining you can't even tell it rained. Our house sits at the highest point on the block so we have never had a problem with standing water.

We had flash flood yesterday worst I have seen in over 30years!!!! Never seen it rain so hard and for so long,it poured and I mean POURED for 2hrs straight!!!

Yeah, they said we average 4-5inches of rain for the month of June and this year we got over 8. We've had a short break but it's supposed to start back in again on Tuesday. I just finished mowing and burning all the dead grass yesterday. Guess I'll have to mow again tomorrow to try and get ahead of it.....They are saying July will be below average temps and above average precipitation also.....uuggghhhh. Later.

:hello: Yesterday we got almost 3 inches of rain & the day before that 2". We are finally starting to cool off. We had our first cold front go threw last night. It was only 68* when I got up this morning instead of 80.

Yeah, last winter we were cooped up for 5 months due to bad weather, then it rains most of this spring and summer, now it's like we're heading straight into winter......already.......Ugh........Later.

Ugh, calling for the first frost this weekend - here we go again..................Leaves are falling, have changed colors in some places but not in others. Here is a link for those that want to see the colors change in Indiana. Scroll down, it's a live webcam from Brown County in Indiana. Later.

That's how I left Michigan. Real quick. I do miss dirtbikes in the Upper Peninsula. Thousands of square miles open to the public. Tennessee.......... Almost no public land , just pockets of it. TEXAS is the place you ought to be.
The time will pass quickly and you will be packing and wondering how you collected all this big heavy stuff.lol
