Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD) 2011

We can roll into or out of the campground anytime No gates! Just be respectfull and dont pretend your a harley rider reving it up when people are sleeping!!
 
Well.....4 more hours of work!!!! Leaving at 11am,packing up the rest of my stuff and grabbing the trailer and bike. I have a 3 hour drive down to Spring Green,Wi to meet up with my buddy Shane. We then have to combine my crap and his,and put the bikes both on his trailer. I talked to Wissler last night and the plan is for us to leave early enough to meet up with WiilyD and Wissler in Portage,IN and then "Convoy" the rest of the way. I hope we can fit all our stuff in his van!! I feel like a Woman going on vacation....except instead of clothes and makeup, I am bringing cycle parts,polishing supplies,alcohol,etc....

Can't wait to meet you guys!! 11 o'clock can't come fast enough!!!!! SEE YOU ALL AT VMD 2011 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh don't worry Paul. If we discover any Harley 'wanna-be's', they won't be in the pack long! :)

Yep, have fun & good luck...man, you guys have all the fun with meets there across the pond, wish I was in US of A the weather is better :D

OK...I am bringing my Honda and it is a bit loud, but I promise not to be a "harley" type..I will be riding out with you guys on the ZL and it's all stock so it will be quiet..:laughing7:

I just punched off at 8 am...Gotta throw front rotors on my Tahoe and then onto home to get things packed...Hopefully I will not leave my suitcase behind like I did 3 years ago....lots to do for me and I am sure for a lot of people...Excited to get outta here...

Hellion tried calling you but the number I have is incorrect. I will be heading out shortly and should be at the campground before sunset. So if you feel up to making the ride all the way I will have a cold beer for you!!
 
They wouldn't tell me if I got Friday and/or Monday off or not last night so I guess I will find out tonight when I go to work. I'll be leaving (maybe late) Thursday afternoon or Friday afternoon. Still got to lock and load everything and catch a nap before I get out on the road. See you guys sometime this weekend. Later.
 
well, it's thursday morning, & in just a little while i will be heading out to VMD's. for those of you attending, i'll see you all this afternoon. for those of you who can not make it to this years event, have a great weekend, ride safe, & stay cool !

Hellion made it to my house, we are partially packed up. Need some sleep before hitting the road. Hope to be on the road between 4pm and 6pm. Later.

What a weekend! First I have to apologize for the weather! If it wasn't hot and humid it was raining! I sure did miss the hotel this year! It was so bad that I couldn't get anyone motivated to run up to the dragstrip, which was rained out anyways! We did get a small group ride in though!

We had a real good turnout this year. As always it's great to see members of past years and always a pleasure to meet new ones! Scotty commented on how he felt right at home with the brotherhood, and I could see that he felt right at home :laughing7:. As usual I'm looking forward to VMD '12 already!

Wuputt and puttputt weren't able to make it, we sure missed you guys!

Kawasaki was the Marquee of the year. They had a nice tent set up with some nice old toys and reps handing out t-shirts. Also a couple Kawasaki hotties on display as well! Sorry I didn't get any pics of the hotties, hopefully someone did! They also held a Kawasaki only parade laps around the track! For as many KZ's and Z1's they sold the Eliminator was well represented at this event!
