Well.... Where do I start?? The Convoy to Ohio was LONG and HOT..... It was nice to have WillyD & Wissler to cruise along with!! After some unforeseen delays we finally made it to the campground about 5:30pm Thursday,My buddy Shane (Ralph...) and I had left his house at 3:45AM so it was about a 14 hour journey start to finish...
Got to the campground and met up with everyone else that was there and got the "camp" set up for the weekend,We headed out for some dinner and let me tell you, seeing all of the bikes headed down the road in formation makes a guy smile!! then we headed back to the campground for some after dinner drinks....
Friday was...well, HOT!!!! Got the 10x20 tent I brought along set up and hung the WELCOME banner I had a friend of mine make, I am pretty sure the ONLY reason I was told I was welcome back is because of the tent....

Had a great time talking to everyone at the club space all day!!
Friday night we headed out for some Pizza and a shot of cleavage, and to our surprise they had a nice quite band playing for us to enjoy while eating!! then headed over to Buck's. Most went back to the campground, but I was easily convinced to head back to Mike's for some more of the band and a "couple" more Jack's.
Saturday was a SLOW start, headed to the Club space and hung out for awhile. It was still hot as hell but fun to see all the stuff that was going on.
The group ride was pretty fun!! It was my first time on a race track on the bike and was a little intimidating at first.... It was very cool that we ended up at the FRONT of the line for the Kawasaki ride!!! The first lap was good, then we stopped for pictures before they let us loose for the second lap, that one was a little scary!! A lot of people even had the nerve to PASS the pace bike....Hmmmm. Headed back to the club space and hung out for a bit.
I wanted to replace my clutch on my bike but didn't know how too,so everyone told me what I needed to bring and we could get it done!! Thanks to Bacchus for bringing the Barrnet Clutch all the way from Arizona!!! So after sitting around a little bit, I pulled my bike in the trailer to start the clutch job. I started the job but it wasn't long before I need a little help... Long story short, the job got done and I learned how to replace my clutch by myself, but I need to thank Jarney for hanging out to watch and make sure I didn't screw it up and Bacchus for the knowledge he was willing to share with me as well. It was a nice "lesson" to learn that you can't be afraid to take on these jobs yourself.... If you don't, you will never learn how..... and THAT I have to thank you ALL for!!!! I have learned a LOT but you can NEVER learn too much!!
All I am going to say about Saturday night is...... WET!!! End of story!!
Sunday was pack up and head back to the club space to take everything down and say our "goodbye's". The trip home seemed to go a little quicker and we made it back in one piece!! Drove home from Shane's (Ralph) house this morning and am trying to find the motivation to get all my stuff put away......
So, Needless to say I think that I will be attending this event every year!! It was great to meet you ALL, and put some face to the names that have helped me out with all my questions on here. I am glad that I "fit in" and was able to have an awesome weekend with you guys!! It was truly a pleasure!! Can't wait....2012 is just around the corner....
