Yet Another Pawn Shop Tool Gem

I frequently go to pawn shops looking for stuff people hock for cash. Mostly guns but sometimes tools. Yesterday, while pawn shop cruising there was what looked like a H Gerstner & Sons wood tool box. I had always wanted one but didn't feel like putting out all that cash for one and I was a welder and needed more space for my tools so I always had JobBox kind.

Well the tool box was locked. Pawn shop either didn't want to break it. Or they didn't know how simple the lock was to pick. It is old, dirty and HEAVY.

Would you take $50 cash? ........ Yes
Sold!!!
Took it home and in a few minutes found someone had hocked grandpa's tools and man oh man. I hope grandpa don't hurt them too bad.

It is not marked as a H Gerstner but check out was inside.

The maker plate is off the front just under the lock hasp. Found some other markings and some other cool stuff.

Yes it can be moved. I'm not sure if Martin K. is still doing it or not. Your thread is about tools so it wouldn't be highjacking. It doesn't bother me if someone highjacks a thread of mine. It doesn't bother me one bit.
