I have been quoted £250-£300 to have the downpipes and link pipe join made up in stainless steel, they will be making up a jig to produce these using my old parts, when it is done i shall take pics and tell you how the fitting went and my opinion of the quality of the finished item.

Yes, please do.

That works out to 415-498 USD - a lot of money, but still a good price for a stainless system.

What mufflers are you going to use?

yes i would like to have a nice pipe the d&d sucks to low and very costly. So put me on the list. It needs to go around the motor instead of underneath the motor. 4 into 1 right?
That would be sweet to have one of those for my bike the ninjalator. that d&d just way to low.

I'm using what was on before,......a pair of stainless (sporty looking) mufflers i had made up several years ago

These pipe i am having made are a copy of the original 4 into 2

I'm afraid things have not gone well with this, been seriously messed around, have been told they have been done but the guy who made them has TRIPLED his price (if they have been made at all, as i have not seen any development pictures or items))
Have got my deposit and original pipes back, if anyone sees a set of stainless pipes for a ZL from devon(southwest England) for sale, chances are it was the set made for me or from the jig that was alledgedly made up from my pipes, i would be very weary of the seller.
Still leaves me looking to replace my set, if get anything else organised i will let you guys know.

As they say "if something looks too good to be true it probably is"
