i will keep you posted on my surgery date, it has not been set yet, but i'm hoping soon, coz i dont want it to cut into my riding time !

when I went out to the drag strip my zl1k was in the lead through the first 1/8 mile nearly every run. but then again that is a zl1k .......I dont know if you zl9 guys would do so well....lol... nudge...nudge... poke poke

back in the late 80's and early 90's I used to drag my z-l900 on a semi regular bases. Got to compete against a wide variety of bikes. I must admit that the z-l1000 was a tight run at the top end but never had one cross the line ahead of me.
 
Now now Bacchus, just how embarrased are you going to be when you get beaten by a ZL900 after saying that?
 
I think my bike would be worn out by the time I rode it to you Bacchus. And drowned as well, hehe.
 
when the weather is right take yours to the track and run her on the quarter. youll have a great time and if you beat an 11.8 you are the man !!

I've highlighted 2 slight problems Bacchus. The weather is always crap here, unless I'm in work. And the nearest strip is only 1/8 mile.[/b]
