Next time yer passin that bike shop panther, bring your digi cam with you and take a snap of it. It'd be interesting to see the bike yer talking about?

I'll go back tomorrow to find out what it is, i want to chat to the guys there and quiz them, see how much they know. And I'll see if they have a brochure for the 250 that way i can figure out if it is bigger and heavier if it has stats on it.

It had the same style seat as the vn, but the photos don't give a good indication of size (they still look small) also the one i saw definately had eliminator on the tank unlike the pics you show. I'll take a pic and put it up here just to show you guys.

Yep your right Rocket, was a vn250. Spoke to a guy in the stealership and he tried to sell me a new one I still can't get over how big it is for a "small" bike. I couldn't get a clear shot for a photo, it had a boulevarde one side and a vstar the other and they were all roughly the same size.

Yeh, not bad hey? My dad has a thing for V-Twins and his XV750 is costing too much for CTP/rego (Compulsory Third Party insurance/road tax). He's on a pension and must have a bike, one with forward controls (bad knees) and so now I have to convince him of the benefits of joining the "club" (Eliminator club).

Hey rocket,

I could imagine your old man rocking up to the Bingara RSL Club on a ZL1K, I bet it would make the old ducks choke on their Pimms.

The new VN250 "Eliminator" might look the goods, but would it handle the trip to Copeton Dam from Bingara? ...it's pretty steep?

I know my ZL1K didn't like the trip too much, too many twisty bits and 1 in 4 grade hills.
