Hi all. I have been in touch with a silicone hose manufacturer in the UK and have had all the tooling made for the 3 cooling pipes that are no longer available for our bikes. The tooling has been produced from original pipes, so they will be the correct shape.
The set will consist of the top rear, top front and bottom hose. The 4th hose behind the rad is still available, and due to the cost of getting the tooling made up I have only had the 3 that we can't get, produced.
I am expecting the first few sets this week. There will be 2 finishes available. One is a gloss black, and the other is a black 'classic' wrap look. They can also be produced in red as well.
I haven't finalised a price as yet, and the tooling has cost me a hell of a lot of money...I will be selling them on ebay, and I am willing to ship to the USA as well.
What I am prepared to do for forum members is give a discount on the ebay price to anybody who fancies a set once I have tested the quality and fit and finish on my own bike, and I have worked the pricing out. As a rough guide, taking into account tooling costs etc, I am possibly looking at putting them on ebay for around £129 sterling + postage (but this is a provisional price, not finalised yet). If I did, I would offer the sets to the forum at around £110 sterling + postage (doesn't sound much, but it would save you USA guys about $30 on a set)
Please feel free to contact me with feedback regarding interest on the forum.
I will try to put some images up mid week of the pipes once I have had them delivered too me.
Cheers.
Rob.
