cowboys got 6 turnovers and the giants coach said that was the worst football he has EVER seen his team play and the G-men still had a shot at winning the game. im telling you the cowboys have been and still are way over rated. :evil5:

BWAHAHAHA......sour grapes. One team dominated the line of scrimmage. One team dominated the time of possession. One team shut down the running game. One team caused those turnovers. One team won. Smashmouth style. Sure they have some things to work on. They just changed their whole style of defense. They are back. They will win. Nothing else matters.

:hello: Pittsburgh is the only team in the NFL that does not have stupid cheerleaders. The Cow girls are going no where. 6 turn overs should of created a bigger points spread. No need to rag on the Steelers because I will admit that they won't even make the playoffs.

At least we have a responsible enough QB not to get accused of raping a massage therapist or slamming into cars on Hyabusa without a helmet!

On the muscle of my arm I have a red and blue tattoo that says: “Cowboys, I love you”. </SPAN>
. Dallas is the land of fair weather fans. When they are up life is good, and when they are down they are way down. Dallas did not win that game last night, Washington lost. I have set in Texas stadium and watched Staubach, White, Aikman, Bledsoe, and now Romo. For me, football season ends when the Boys are out of the play-offs. It is true that for recent years that has been early. </SPAN>
. I cannot afford to go to the new Jerry World. Have been to Moto-X and watched my own son play on that place during Texas HighSchool Play-offs, but Pro-Ball, nope. To damn expensive. In the old stadium one could buy nose bleeds then work your way down each quarter to end up on the 50 yard line by the end of the game. Now in Jerry World each section is blocked off with guards. </SPAN>

:hello: Those days have long passed in most stadiums. It is all about money today. When Pittsburgh rose to the top in the 70s my brother-in-law took me to every game from 1974 to 1980. The tickets was the cheapest part of the whole trip. Now it is the other way around. My brother worked with Jack Ham's father in Bethlehem Coal mine # 33 in Ebensburg PA. Jack did not make much more money than his dad did his rookie year. I stole a #59 practice jersey out of Jack Ham's fathers truck in 1974. I had every starting player on the Steelers roster sigh that jersey over about a 4 year period. While going to DeVry University in Columbus OH in 1983 my mother cleaned out my closet & through that jersey in the trash. I was devastated. When I approached Jack Ham to sign that jersey he asked how did you acquire this jersey. I said I'm sorry but I took it from your Dads truck at the coal mines. He just laughed. I was so relieved.

R.J. (All in fun...) Sorry you are not able to look that up yourself. I referenced the oracle of all knowledge, Wiki, for you....
Antonio Ramiro "Tony" Romo (born April 21, 1980) is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Eastern Illinois University, an NCAA Division I-AA school. At Eastern Illinois, Romo won the Walter Payton Award in 2002, and led the Panthers football team to an Ohio Valley Conference championship in 2001.
Not selected in the 2003 NFL Draft, Romo signed as a free agent with the Dallas Cowboys. After two seasons as a holder, Romo replaced the Cowboys' previous starting quarterback Drew Bledsoe during a game against the New York Giants in the 2006 season. Romo was a Pro Bowl selection for the 2006, 2007, and 2009 seasons, all seasons in which the Dallas Cowboys made the playoffs. Additionally, Romo has broken Dallas Cowboys team records including most games with at least 300 passing yards and games with three or more touchdown passes. However, Romo has been criticized for underachieving during crucial game situations and losing close games with turnovers.
In a Fox Sports Southwest interview, Rick Gosselin of The Dallas Morning News also called Romo "not wired to win the last game of the season" especially "f it means extending the season."[SUP][36][/SUP] Dan Graziano of ESPNDallas.com wrote that Romo's "record starts to become very hard to defend" due to "the oft-cited fact that he's got just the one playoff win in his entire career."[SUP][37][/SUP]
.
. I think he lost his job as the holder for the field goal kick.
The Cowboys played the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Wild Card playoff round on January 6, 2007. With the Cowboys trailing 21–20 on fourth-and-one with 1:19 left in the game, the Cowboys attempted a 19-yard field goal. Romo, the holder for the kick, fumbled the snap. He recovered the ball and attempted to run it in, but was tackled short of the first down marker, and turned the ball over on the Seattle 2-yard line. The Cowboys went on to lose the game.[SUP][13][/SUP] Romo finished the 2006 season ranked seventh in the NFC in passing yards (2,903) and touchdown passes (19).
.
. All this is true, but I do love me some Cowboy Football! It is true that the Cowboys did not win last night's game, but New York lost.... Who do we play next week?

:hello: Ya, all in fun. Super Bowl XXX. Neal (through it in the stands) O'donnell threw the ball to 2 defenders with no receivers within 20 yards giving the game away. I have that Super Bowl on DVD. Do you want it. :laughing7:

:hello: How many Super Bowls does Remo have. I do not care about off the field crap.
He'll be getting his first one this year... It doesn't matter how good the QB is if the rest of the team doesn't't do their part. Ask Marino and the other 10 quarterbacks in the hall of fame that never won one.

jerry jones reminds me of al davis, only thing different is JJ has $. hire people who can run a football team and stay in owners box. romo will never get a superbowl in dallas, maybe as a backup on a different team. steelers will win another superbowl before dallas will ever go to one.
Wanna bet?

:hello: I always like when some Sports figure pics a Super Bowl winner even before the season starts. Most of them are wrong. So I say it will be the Skins & Horses in the Super Bowl & the Broncos coming out on top 27 to 24.
Have you checked the score in the Redskins first game? Dallas will win the division. Unless Romo gets hurt.

That has nothing to do with our bet. Pittsburgh sucks...and they will for a long time. Dallas will be the best team in their division this year. No question. Did you see the crappy preseason pick to win it? Skins suck. Philly will fade. Dallas is better than the not so Giants. They are only gonna get better once the defense gets more experience with the 4:3.

Cowboys: W W L L L L L W L L L W W L L L= 5-11 = no play-offs = no superbowl = big bonus for Romo.

Money CAN buy a championship, unless Jerry Jones is the "GM" :rotf: What a maroon.

Wrong on both counts. He is the one that owned the 90s...remember? You are crazy if you think the Cowboys will drop 3 in a row....much less 4. They haven't done that since when...89? What are you smokin? Crack or laced weed? :laughing7:
