hey guys! just wanted to pass along a great experience i had here recently. i bought a set of repro decals from prfixer for my 85 zl9 i've been restoring.well,he was great to deal with,shipped out fast and when i got them i was really pleased with the quality of them.i spent alot time and money bringing my 9 back to life and i didn't want to put crappy decals on it.anyway,i would recommend him to anybody looking for a nice repro decal set. great job!

I have prfixer's decal set on my black zl9 as well, the bike is mint and the repro decal set is perfect. if you are condering purchasing a decal set from p-fixer.. dont hesitate, product is perfect

fyi there is a thread around here somewhere, from I belive Blag, that shows how to get the decals on the tank positioned perfectly in the factory location, for those that are anal about authentic restoration

Same here.I have his decals on my red 9.They look great.I don't think I have ever heard a complaint about them.

Just curious, are you guys putting decals on over clear? On my 600 the decals are under the clear, necessitating a strip and repaint in order to replace them. I ended up repairing some light damage to a decal on mine in order to maintain factory finish and not have to do a complete repaint.

DITTO on the quality of Dave's decals. I've purchased several sets from him; the quality is great and it's consistent. He did a primo job in assuring his manufacturing source delivered high standards - A BIG THUMBS UP TO DAVE!

Interesting timing on this thread. First, thanks for the kind words to all.

The timing is interesting because I had sold a set to another member on here and he's not as pleased as you guys are. He pointed out that the latest run of the tank decals' appears to be too narrow. After examining them again, I believe he's correct. I had asked the manufacturer to make sure the "KAWASAKI" was exactly centerd in the outline and think that is what messed up the border. I am going to see the manufacturer as soon as I can get there during work hours to see what I can do about getting the border a little "fatter".

If anyone else has bought a set from me and isn't happy with what you received, let me know and we'll work something out.

I'm not going to sell any more until I know what I can do about the borders. Dave

The latest run of the tank decals before this one had a little thinner outline then what they should have had. I didn't notice it until one of the other members caught it.
