:hello: Navy ships are the most complex machines on earth. The Mine Sweeper class electronics and electrical is the most complex because every wire in the entire ship needed to be shielded twisted pair so that the the electronics and electrical would not give off (EMI) ElectroMagnetic Interference. Everything that was metal is stainless steel and the entire ship is made of wood.

If ya need a good set of pliers, get one of these. The small one can be bought at Menards for around $17. They fit in your pliers pocket perfectly. They grip better than any other pliers and after you have had them for a couple months you will feel lost without them. I have been carrying the 125 for years, the 250 which is about 10" is the tool box plier. I rarely ever use a regular slip joint or channel locks.

:hello: I bought a 5 inch 87 01 125 and a 10 inch 87 01 250 KNIPEX channel lock plyers from AMAZON. $58 shipped for both. AMOZON had the best price. They work so much better than the other two brands of channel locks that I own. They stay tight and don't slip. It takes less effort to use them. IMG_8905.JPG

You're going to like the impact driver, it comes in real handy for things like differential drain/fill plugs. Really surprised that you didn't have one in your arsenal. They make great stocking stuffers for the kids that treat you so well by hooking you up with the good tools at Christmas.
 
:hello: My two Sons buy me tools every year. I already have a impact driver (30 years) but it doesn't seem to work right anymore. It seems to be wore out. It slips or shifts left to right to easily.

:hello: I bought a new bore camera made by ENDOSNAKE. $50 shipped. It works great for seeing the inside of a gun barrel which what it was designed for. For everything else it sucks and so do the instructions as does their customer service. I scoped the inside of my ZL 10 fuel tank and couldn't see a thing. I had to use a flash light in order to take pics. When I ordered it it was taking forever to get here. :hello: Last XMAS My Wife and two Sons bought me all these tools. Xcelite jewelers screwdriver set. They are much easier to use than the small metal ones. Weller soldering irons. The small one works great on motorcycles wiring harness and the high output one is for doing thick gauge wire. My younger Son and I made some desks and other furniture with the KREG jig. I have yet to use the BOSTITCH air stapler gun. Ive been using the electrical connector crimper kit on my bikes quite a bit. They work really well. I'm not sure where my Son got it or who makes it. :hello: I bought this floor jack a few years ago along with the cross beam extension. Both pads slides outward on the cross beam to about a foot or so. The range is about 3 ft to 5 ft. It is good for going between the lower A arms across the front of a car/truck. Better than jacking up one side at a time. I bought a 10 inch impact extension that has an outer sleeve so that you can hold while doing lug nuts. The sleeve stays still while the extension spins.
