New Tools

Last November my 1990 Fisher Scientific ultrasonic cleaner fell from my garage fridge. The same one used on Ebay is between $300 and $500. I bought a VEVOR from EBAY for $160 shipped. It's rated at 480 watts at 40 KHZ. It holds 5.8 gals of cleaner. It has a 30 min timer and heats up to 180* F. :hello: For my Ultrasonic leaner I cut and glued foam for the top, bottom and sides for inside it's storage tote. See post #381. 20250102_090225[1].jpg

Wee bit smaller than my last post. 7" slip joint Knipex, they were going into one of my tool rolls but are more than likely making a permanent home in my toolbox.

Probably going to get a little variety of needlenose and maybe some of the smoothie button action pliers, yes I like them and probably will be sending them a couple of hundred dollars once it is all said and done.
 
I've been carrying a 7" Knipex for many years, always in my pliers pocket. I also keep the larger set in my toolbox. There is no pliers that can compare!
 
It started out going down a rabbit hole looking for needle nose that won't have damage to the tip after moderate use. I didn't even get the needle nose I was initially after :roflmao:. I think I got paralysis from analysis, probably leaning towards Klein needlenose.
 
:hello: Motion Pro two quart auxiliary fuel tank $58 shipped. Ebay. Part # 08-0032. It measures in ml so I used a red sharppie to mark the increments in ozs/qts. The 5/16" I.D. on/off valve is also made by Motion Pro. I did not like the one that came with the unit. It had 1/4" I.D. fittings. I also used Motion Pro clear 5/16" I.D. fuel line. Last XMAS my Son Jared bought me a KLEIN multi-meter ($50 LOWES) Model # CL 220. It also measures temps. Today I bought a PBEF wire/terminal crimper and assorted male and female connectors. $27 shipped from AMAZON. I already had some connectors that I bought over the years along with a different crimper. :hello:GRACE USA gunsmithing punches. $117 shipped. EBAY. They do not mar up a guns finish. 1 set of long punches. 1 set of short ones. Both sets have round nipples at the ends that center on a role pin. 1 set of internal punches.
