:hello: I'm doing some remodeling. My garage is full of furniture so my Friend Ron & po of my ZL is letting me keep it in his garage. He took it for a ride a few days ago & said for sure he wants to pick up another one later on in the year.

Fired the truck up this morning, and she let out a noise i aint EVER heard.............like a baby screaming.....TO COLD DAD SHUT ME OFF!!!!:thumbsup:

Frozen precip never made it this far south . . . all we got was rain, a little ice in the trees :neutral:
 
My buddy rode his Goldwing this morning on his 30 minute ride to work. The temp was 1 degree. He rides all the time when it's like 20-30, but even he said it was a little too much this morning.
 
I dunno what you guys are talking about. Might have to get out for a ride tomorrow. Mid 50's and sunny.
 
:hello: Only 44* today. They had snow & freezing rain up in the panhandle of FL. They had snow actually stick to the ground. They closed the schools & some roads.
 
44 here today. Hopefully it will be a while before the next cold front comes in!
 
:hello: Summers here already. Central Fl tied a record high of 86* yesterday that was set in 1894. It is to be 84* today.
 
Enjoy it R.J., we just got 6 inches of snow yesterday and they are saying maybe another 3-6 of mixed crap tomorrow.
 
5-8 inches of snow in my area coming this afternoon and I think 7-12 inches for Madmanncr500's area about 20 miles from me. Ugh, it's never going to end........Later.
 
That's OK Jared......I'll take that any day over the ice we're going to get from the same storm that's going to hit you all up that way! We're about double the amount of snow we normally get in a season. Must be that Global Warming the liberals keep referring to. :bs:

I'm ALMOST wishing for a good storm! Seems the only way we are going to get out of the frigid temps! I would rather be blowing snow than dealing with sub zero......

Last night on Chicago news they said at this point last year they had gotten 6.3" of snow and this years it is 56.5" (and I am about 35 miles to the east of Chicago and we have gotten far more). We probably had 10" last weekend at my house. They are calling for possibly 10"+ starting tonight and into tomorrow. and more coming saturday...I believe it was like 13-15 days in the month of January it was air temps below zero and that is unusual here. Most days it dipped below it was usually 10-15 below not counting windchill...have had some decent winds too. blowing, drifting and white out...I would rather have the snow and 20-30 degrees versus the sub zero, but this year it has been a pretty significant mixture of both...Two weeks ago today there was a horrific accident on the expressway right here where I get on to go home...I go west and this was in the eastbound lanes...Like 47 vehicles (11 semis) involved and 3 fatalities...I went thru that area about an hour before this happened...It was white-out condition but improved for me going west and got worse headed east...I am tired of it....I hate winter to begin with...
 
I'm with ya WillyD, and yeah Markus56, we've had everything except ice - knock on wood. Supposed to be -17 sometime next week for the low.........Later.
 
Willy, I saw that wreckage on the net, terrible! I have only gone through one full tank of gas with my snowblower. We have yet to get a significant storm this year and the one moving towards you now will just miss me! I have had waaaay too many sub zero days, and now propane is at $4.90 gal, thanks to the huge pipe breaks up by the Canadian Border. Luckily, I filled my tank just a couple days before it shot up, I filled at $2.03 gal., just wish I had a bigger tank, my 400 gal wont last till it warms up. I just turn down the thermostat and run some space heaters.....my elec is cheap!
