Its snowing again!! When is it going to stop?

Today I ran the snow blower to clear the driveway so I could get to work. Parked the tractor in the garage and went in to have a hot cup of coffe and get a shower before work. About 45 or 50 min later when I went outside to leave for work the darn driveway was blown shut already and had to plow it again! Then tonight I had to plow yet again just to get up it and park! But yet again its snowing on me and I will probably have to do it yet again in the morning! Snow sucks and I'm tired of plowing it!!!

I hear ya Paul, snowing here again too. They are calling for up to 1/2 foot. Not that much in the grand scheme of things but add that to what has already fallen and it's becoming a real head ache.

Nice outside. It's 62* & sunny. It is supposed to reach near 70*. Tomorrow it is to be in the mid 70s. My wife & I are going to ride up through the Ocala National Forest.

This morning 14 F with some snow, only going to get a couple inches but,,,,25-35 mph winds make for some fun drifting! I feel your pain Paul, the driveway and yard out on the farm are a never ending battle!

You guys in the mid west and east side of the country have been getting hammered this year. There is the big motorcycle show in town this weekend and I was hoping to go this afternoon. If I go, I will get a bunch of pictures and give you guys a little two wheeled porn to look at while you dream of warmer days.

The heck with the bike porn I think its time to start looking at a bigger tractor and snow blower, maybe one with a heated cab and all that so I don't have to deal with the cold.

Same here, from the snow last night and the snow we'll get tonight, we've broken the seasonal record for Indiana's most snowfall in history. There's mountains of this junk piled up everywhere - supposed to get warm this coming week so now they are giving everyone flood warnings. Pretty miserable winter.....Later.

I should have never looked at that tractor porn! Now I have to convince the wife its time for a new tractor and that a heated cab is not just a want but somehow a need and justify the amount of money we will be spending.

I wish. Too many smelly Harley riders with their old ladies, and I stress old. Couple of hotties hanging with the sport rider clubs but no show stoppers. Even the girls working the displays and vendor areas weren't that great.

That's what I meant. They're generally at least somewhat hot and appropriately dressed and don't mind being photographed.

As promised, a few pics from the show. My buddy is interested in a new dirtbike so we spent a lot of time over there. Sat on a lot of bikes. The new Vmax seems awfully heavy, same with the Vrod. The ZX14 felt sweet, better than the Busa, but the ZX10 was way too cramped for me.



A new "custom" twin from Star, or a re-badged Yamaha Warrior. Not my first choice but at least manufacturers are trying to cater to different people.



A 800+ HP drag bike. My buddy knew this guy from when he used to hit the track on a regular basis.

Yes, it a Harley, but I gotta give a shout to the home team.

GS1100 with a turbo


Something for you dual sport riders. I think this would be a blast. Pack it up and take off for a couple of weeks hitting the roads rarely seen by the average person.


An electric bike from California. No thanks, top speed limited to about 98. Not sure of the range.


Z1000 - Don't really care for these but it's a Kaw so I had to include it.


ZX14 - I was really liking the green on this, a metalflake with somewhat of a candied top coat.


A Busa. Again, I like the color scheme, but not as comfortable as the big ZX


Suzuki M90. Something about the black with the screaming yellow accents that I liked. Even carried over to the tires.

Watching the snow falling again today ( 3-8" forecast here ) I think I have officially given up on ever seeing spring.

You sissies want a little cheese with that wine. Ride time tomorrow. It is going to be in the mid 80s. Feb is always the month for the worst crappy weather for you guys. It always has been. Feb 21 st marks the day my pregnant girl friend died in a horrible car accident in 1979. Now my brother's wife is in the ICU because of snow fighting for her life. It sucks alright, big time.
