Today's Weather

:hello: I have sent PMs to all FL members at one time or another & only one responded. He lives in South Daytona beach side. His response was that he does not ride for pleasure & or have time to ride.
 
The extra dose of radiation burns all of the dirt off!
I'm going to keep my ZL6 in commuting mostly mode, untill I fix my issues, and do someting with my tired suspension.
Looks like I'm walking to the store to get an impact wrench to take this clutch off. I better find the sunscreen it's bright as hell out there today.:laughing7:

I needed a new rear tire and called my local shop, but they were closed. Called the owners personal number and asked him if he knew if he had any stock off the top of his head. He says, if you don't mind a whitewall, this jerk ordered one and didn't pick it up, that was two weeks ago. I don't wan't it to get too old, for me to want to sell it, so it's yours for $90.

I jumped on that, retail at the time was 160 I think? I wasn't too fond of it at first.. but it has really grown on me!:thumbsup:
 
Well, I am pretty sure I took care of any future snowstorms for southern MN. I bought a Polaris XLT600 last night, Puttputt and I ran it around the yard and up and down the road ditch for a couple hours. That thing is pretty quick for a old sled!

I hope you're right and it puts a quick end to this crappy winter we have been having.
 
:hello: To dang hot out. It's 85*. I'm trying to urethane the rest of my base board. It is drying to fast. I'm trying to not pull myself away from my remodeling project. My ZL is calling my name. :laughing7:
 
We are suposed to get another 4-7" tonight then winds for blizzard watch till sat morning. That means we will get a foot or nothing....not placing any bets!

Right 1 yr. I read up on em a bit, been kinda sorta looking and was about to pull the trigger on a Indy 500 when this deal popped up. I got it for a good price with a lot of parts, tons of jets, spare spark plugs, bunch of clutch weights, two new belts, spare used clutch and a lot of other bits I havent even finished going through the box! The parts I got are worth the price I paid for the whole lot! I do need to get a set of needles and seats, they are a weak spot also, better to just put them in and clean the carbs to see what I have there!

I am going to order the needle/seats today. Rode it a bit last night on the fresh snow, now I have to go out and blow some snow!
