Today's Weather

Ugh, last night was a bear, supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow, then negative wind chills again on Saturday and then more snow coming Sunday - Mondayish.

Kawboy - yeah, I should have sped up the playback a little more for the comedic effect - moving faster does not equal being warmer - trust me on that one - hahaha. Next time I'll make sure I record a little more.

R.J. - you are not right in the head for sure. This weather is miserable - costs a ton in heating and gas bills too. Hard on the vehicles, dangerous, and at least YOU can go for a bike ride. You can complain about Florida when you show up to shovel my driveway - hahaha.

Later.

:hello: Now that I'm older the cold might not be as appealing to me as it once did or should I say tolerating. My older brothers would tell me I was crazy for riding snowmobiles in negative degree weather. Out of a dozen people that I rode with only 3 of us rode no matter the temp out side. I never really remember being cold. I always had the latest & greatest riding gear. If needed I rode with my down filled vest & down Woolrich hunting suit. When I bought it in the late 70s it cost me $250 which was almost 2 pay checks. I still own that hunting suit. It no longer fits me but my sons have used it up in PA. They never complained of being cold. While in PA this past December my son Jared & I did manage to find time to go for a ride on my Nephews 800 Razor. I did not get cold until I had to get out & wade through mud & water to hook up the winch. I shook the whole way home.

:hello: It was 71 yesterday. Changed the oil in my ZL then went for a ride with 3 other ZL 1000 & 2 V max's. It's 62 this morning. :laughing7:

Awesome! it's 34 & freezing rain here in NJ, the bikes are fast asleep:thumbsup:

No kidding 1 year wonder - that's a perfect pic. We got lucky and "most" of the ice missed us. It's still pretty slick and slushy out there - had trouble getting out of the driveway last night to go to work - going uphill and ice is not a good mix - hahaha. It's in the low 30's this morning and the temps will be dropping through the middle of the week so I guess the mess is here to stay for a while. Back down in the negatives mid week during the nights. Later.

WooHoo!!!! Get out the tank tops, shorts and bikinis - it's a heat wave a comin' - ok, NOT - but it's supposed to get to the upper 40's and maybe low 50's this Saturday here. I'm sure we'll pay for any nice weather we get this weekend - probably means the "polar vortex" is due to hit us right after this weekend - hahaha. Later.

The story here is fog. It gets really bad sometimes this time of year. 5 people got killed in it last night not far from where I live in a car crash.
I got caught in it a few weeks ago and could only see about a hundred feet. Was so bad I turned onto the wrong road going home.
Like driving in a cloud. It burns off by 11 AM & then comes back as the sun goes down.

Been somewhat mild the past 4 or 5 days but it looks like it's heading downhill again for next week. We're almost halfway there (Spring), I hope it goes back to the mild stuff. Later.

:hello: It is to be 79 today. :laughing7: & in the mid 70s this weekend. First part of next week will be in the low 60s then in the mid 70s the latter half of the week. This is about the existent of our Winters. My son & I just came back from a off road ride. Perfect day for it except for the dust.

Getting real tired of plowing, shoveling and snow blowing that stupid white stuff. We've gotten around 10 inches in the last 3 days. Could be worse I guess seeing how the forecasters are calling for up to 2 feet in Mud's area. (northeast)

weather here is frightful. I tried to go to work this morning and the road and the car in front of me disappeared. :no-no-no: so I turned around and went home. got the generator all set to start up the minute the power goes. My new harman xxv is just a burning. Its 6 degrees with a windchill of -26. good time to sit by the stove and think warm motorcycle thoughts.....:headbang:

I'm just glad it's east of me for a change - you guys can keep that stuff - hahaha. Later.

:hello: Here in FL we got a 100% sunny day. Not a cloud in the sky, but it only reached 67*. :laughing7: My Nephew Paul called me this morning from PA & said they have 14 " of snow on the ground in Cherry Tree & the temp was 24.
