Today's Weather

:hello: My wife's mother turned 90 yesterday & still lives with us so I know what taking care of the elderly is all about. Full time job.

Another 3-4 inches of snow coming down right now - ugh..........Later.

Yep, the snow is north of me this time. I'm all rain here but the temps are a little warmer so the snow pack we've had for a couple of weeks is melting now. Come on Spring!

:hello: It's been raining here. Temps have been in the high 60s. We have had a bit to much rain. Some off our off road trails are under water. It is to be in the 70s for Bike Week Daytona which starts Sat.

Yeah, they were way off on this one - started off saying 5-6, so I figured 3-4, then they upped it as it hit us and we wound up with around 8 or 9 of heavy snow - not the good, light, powdery stuff. My back is aching from moving some of it yesterday. Got ice/sleet coming in the morning - great - I can barely get in and out of my driveway the way it is now. I'll do another video when I get a chance to mess with it. The good news is that the temps seem to be coming up a little according to the extended forecast. Later.

I'll take anything I can get - hahaha. Here's a quick video - I keep trying to write some messages in the snow but they don't show up well on camera - I don't have that much pee in me, and don't drink that much - hahahaha. Some of this latest video got screwed up too, but here's most of it - about 4 minutes after messing with editing........Later.

:hello: So how come you never finish. :laughing7: My parents driveway in PA is 2/3 rds the length of a football field & my Dad & I would start at day break & finish by eleven.

R.J. I'm waiting on you to help me out. Actually I'm old, tired, and lazy - plus I work out in this crap 8 hours a day so I hate being out in this cold crap anymore than I have to. I clear off the concrete pad in front of the garage (so I can get a running start with the truck to try and get through the driveway to the highway - and hope there's no traffic coming - hahaha) and a walkway to the mailbox and one to the shop - the rest of the driveway is asphalt which melts pretty fast on it's own once it's exposed a little bit. My drive is big enough that a snowblower would be a waste and unfortunately a plow is one of those expensive things that takes up space and doesn't always get used each year - hard to justify spending that kind of money on something that may or may not get used. And I figure if I can't get out of the driveway with four wheel drive, then I don't need or want to go anywhere anyway - hahaha. Later.

as of now, snowing, then freezing rain that the boys in Indiana are currently getting will move though, putting icy glaze over everything. UGGHHH !

Rain all day today and through the night, changing over to snow tomorrow morning and snowing all day and stopping tomorrow night. Forecast is for 5 to 12 inches of snow before it ends.......then cold as ice for a couple of days. I'm OVER it!!

Just checked weather wiz and April 16th will be a balmy 76 deg and Sunny here in SE WI, really it will be because the wiz says so! I am picturing myself now taking my first spin on the Eliminator but knowing Wisconsin weather I may need a lot of :goodluck:

:hello: Mid April is the start of our 90* + temps until mid Nov. Not looking forward to it at all. It hit 80* this afternoon. I had to turn on the fans out in the garage while working on bikes.

Woohoo - after tomorrow, the forecasted highs for the next week or so are in the 40's and 50's with no rain or snow - of course that may change by tomorrow. Later.

Yeah, us Kentucky boys got hammered. We wound up with almost exactly a foot here in Louisville and BGT got almost 2 feet in Lexington. Got all my shoveling done now so I'm in for the day.

Getting warmer, now it's time for monsoon season, hopefully it washes the sand and salt off the roads quick, still in the 20's and 30's at night though, may be a while before I can start riding in to work at night - time to start slowly getting the bikes ready though. Later.
